Group Training Ride - Saturday, Feb. 23

This week we will be starting off with a nutrition clinic being presented by mentor Amy Koren-Roth. Amy will give you valuable information on how to fuel yourself for a century ride, as well as for all those long training rides that will get you to event day.
The clinic will begin promptly at 10 am and will go to about 10:30/10:45 am. 
Our group ride will begin immediately after the clinic. 
If you are not attending the clinic, but plan to ride with the group, I suggest getting to the gym at 10:30 am. 
If the clinic is still going on when you arrive, please enter the spin room quietly and have a seat. 
Please do not set up your bikes until after the clinic is over out of respect for those who will be participating in the clinic.

We will be at VENT Fitness again for both our clinic and ride. VENT Fitness is located on Rte. 2 in the KMart Plaza in Latham. Please come prepared to ride with a hand towel, water bottlestiff soled sneakers or cycling shoes with SPD clips, moisture wicking clothing or athletic attire, and a heart rate monitor if you have one. 
If you choose to wear some sort of athletic pant, please make sure it tapers at the bottom, no wide leg pants should be worn as they can get caught while pedaling the bike.

This weeks ride will be strictly an endurance ride, and will be 1 hour in duration.

Please make sure you are familiar with the terms used to communicate with each other on the road.
