Ride Start Time: 9:30 am for ALL riders (you must be ready to ride at 9:30 am)
Mileage: 48 miles total.
Terrain: This course is very scenic with a handful of Category 5 climbs. The most challenging being Copeland Hill at mile 9.
Notes:
1) There are 3 Scheduled Rest Stops along the way at miles 16 (Water Stop, No Bathroom), and 25 (New Baltimore Rest Stop) and at mile 32 (Stewarts).
2) Make sure you bring all bike gear needed...HELMETS, bike pump, saddle bags with tools and such to fix a flat, water bottles filled with electrolyte replacement, and nutritional needs. Layer up, remember, more is better, you will be able to ditch anything you no longer need in the Sag vehicle if you need to.
3) Melissa will be driving the SAG vehicle for this entire ride.
Please only bring what it necessary for the ride. We ask that you do not bring any large bags. We need to make sure there is enough room for a person and their bike to fit in the vehicle so that if someone needs to get pulled from the course we have room to fit everything. Additional nutrition can be put in the cooler in the sag vehicle in small grocery bags. The sag vehicle will be equipped with a bike pump, cooler, electrolyte replacement and water.
