Ride Start Locations (2 options available):
Please email Melissa as to what ride you will be attending. You can do one or both. If you do both, just incorporate a recovery day for Monday.
1) Indoor Spin on Saturday, March 10
1.5 hours (Endurance/Strength Zones Mix 65-85% MHR)
Melissa will be leading. We will be doing our indoor Tahoe simulation ride.
NOTE LOCATION CHANGE Golds Gym, Clifton Park NY (1220 Route 146. Clifton Park, NY 12065)
Ride Start Time for Spin: 11 a.m.
You MUST be there by 10:45 a.m. to sign another waiver and to get the bikes set up before we start.
2) Outdoor Ride on Sunday, March 11
Location: Richard H. O'Rourke Middle School, 173 Lakehill Rd., Burnt Hills, NY 12027
The school is located about 1/2 mile west of Route 50 on Lake Hill Road (on the south side of Lake Hill (from Rte. 50, school is on left).
Ride Start Time: 1 p.m. sharp
You MUST be ready to ride by 1 p.m. Please arrive at least 15 - 30 min. ahead of time to pump tires and get yourself all set to ride. Peter will be leading the ride and will not wait for people who are late.
The ride will be an out and back course anywhere between 20 - 29 miles depending on how the group feels while out there. The ride should be done by 3:30.
There will be no SAG support for this ride.
Notes for both rides:
Please bring a water bottles with electrolyte replacement, nutrition bars or food to get you through the rides duration. Now is the time to start trying different things to see what you can tolerate while exercising.
If you are going outside, layer up, bring gloves, toe warmers, and any gear other gear you may need or want to try. Remember though there is no SAG vehicle, so whatever you bring you will need to keep with you for the entire ride.
There are locker rooms you can use after to change/shower for those at Golds on Saturday.
