Terrain: There are a two good climbs on this route. Coming up VanNess, and a good one up Clamsteam. The rest of the ride is full of ups and downs...just some rollers. Your gift from me for the day is you get to ride DOWN George Thompson (this is a first for me, I always make my riders go up GT, well, until now I suppose).
You have a great opportunity on River Rd./CR 113 starting at mile 25.5 to practice pacelining. This is about a 13 mile stretch of road with a few small rollers, but for the most part, pretty flat.

Notes:
1) IMPORTANT: Parking...please park in the back of the overflow lot on Lake Rd, not the main lot in front. Park all the way in the back side of the lot out of the way of paying customers. The owners are kind enough to let us park in their lot, so we don't want to lose this privilege. You should see my car when you arrive, so park near me if you can.
2) Paula will be our SAG vehicle for this ride and will be equipped with a first aid kit, water, PowerAid electrolyte powder, nutrition bars and gels if you need it before/after our scheduled rest stops. Feel free to bring snacks and beverages that need to be chilled to be put in the cooler (until full). Thank you Paula for volunteering this week! Dave will be our Sweep rider this week, thanks Dave!
