Group Training Ride - Saturday, April 9

Ride Start Location: Gideon Putnam Parking Lot, Saratoga State Park, Saratoga, NY
Ride Start Time: 9 am for ALL riders (you must be ready to ride at 9 am)
Mileage: 45 miles total. For a shorter 20 mile ride, and Out-and-Back loop is suggested turning around at the corner of Burgoyne and Hayes.
Directions: Turn Left into park onto Ave. of the Pines, at about 8/10 mile bear Left at Y, go to stop sign, turn Left and then turn Right into Gideon Putnam parking lot. (Use Ave. of the Pines entrance, not the other entrance further south on Rte. 9 to avoid park entrance fee.)
Terrain: Rolling hills and scenic.
Notes:
1) We will have a SAG vehicle for all rides equipped with a first aid kit, water, PowerAid electrolyte powder, nutrition bars and gels if you need it before/after our scheduled rest stops. Thank you Amy for being our SAG this week!

2) The battlefield rest stop may not be open for bathroom usage. There will be bathrooms at the Gideon prior to the start of the ride as well as at Stewart's at mile 32.

3) Please be courteous to your team mates making sure you arrive ahead of time to pump up tires, etc so that you are ready to roll at 9 a.m. If you get there late, you will most likely will be left behind.

4) Make sure you bring all bike gear needed...HELMETS, bike pump, saddle bags with tools and such to fix a flat, water bottles filled with electrolyte replacement, and nutritional needs. Layer up, remember, more is better, you will be able to ditch anything after the first loop if you need to.

5) I have switched from Docstoc to MediaFire for housing our ride documents as well as all other documents. This should be easier for everyone. Please let me know if you have difficulties. I do not believe you need to sign up for anything, you should just be able to download. I also changed the image used for the pictured Cue Sheet below. It is a higher quality jpg. I'm hoping you can print it out directly with better quality. Test it out and let me know how it goes.
